Sarah Siler-LaFave

Sarah Siler-LaFave is Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) at Acclaro, bringing years of experience and executive leadership in the localization industry. Her career journey started in the software industry, where she encountered localization from the customer perspective. This experience led her to transition into the localization technology industry, where she has held senior roles at Sajan, Argos, RWS Moravia, and United Language Group.

Sarah is deeply connected to her roots, especially her alma mater, Michigan Technological University (MTU), where her grandfather was a mathematics professor. Her family has a four-generation long-standing at MTU. Alongside her professional success, Sarah is passionate about fostering strong organizational performance while promoting a positive work-life balance for her team members. She values leading with strength and kindness and never being too busy to be human. A little humor, honesty, and one of her dogs popping into a meeting are all things you can come to expect when working with her.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys the outdoors, including kayaking, hiking, spending time on the lake, and a very nerdy love of rock hounding. She finds inspiration in nature, whether it’s the rugged landscapes of Galway, Ireland, the vibrant atmosphere of Barcelona, Spain, or the peaceful Keweenaw Peninsula in Upper Michigan (a Yooper at heart). Sarah is also dedicated to animal rescue and manages a home full of mammals, including three cats, two dogs, her husband, and two sons.
