David Hutson

Based in Sleepy Hollow, NY, David Hutson brings a wealth of experience and a dynamic perspective to his Business Development Director role at Acclaro. With a background that spans corporate communications, acting, and even time as a merchant marine, David entered the language services industry through telesales with The Big Word and Bowne Translation Services before joining Acclaro in 2011.

David has been instrumental in advancing Acclaro’s capabilities, including shepherding the company’s first client to leverage a custom-built content management system (CMS) translation connector. He has also cultivated niche expertise in maritime industry translations while focusing on clients in finance, fashion, retail, and CMS-based solutions.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, frequently visiting Manhattan theaters, cycling, running, and paddleboarding on the Hudson River. A Mississippi native and former actor who once toured as J. Jonah Jameson in Spider-Man Live!, David thrives on the blend of technology and human connection that defines the localization industry.
