Alessia Petrucci, director of translation services, celebrates 15 years with Acclaro today!

Acclaro is excited to celebrate the 15th work anniversary of our director of translation services, Alessia Petrucci!

Alessia came to us with rich industry experience from prior roles at Microsoft and Oracle, and a passion for language, literature and the art of translation. And she’s put all of it to excellent use, successfully building a team of linguists, recruiters, engineers and machine learning experts who share her belief that language, technology and processes coexist if the approach is intelligent and based on knowledge.

Alessia is a strong proponent of knowledge sharing — a value she’s helped weave into Acclaro’s unique strategy-driven approach to localization.

As director of translation services, she leads Acclaro’s translation processes that nowadays encompass the creative approach to stylistic texts to the cutting edge machine translation technology that Acclaro is developing. 

“It’s been a new thing every day since I joined Acclaro, and I am very happy with all we have accomplished together,” Alessia said. “More than anything, I’m grateful for the chance of never stopping learning.”

She believes that even while staying on the cutting edge of industry technology, Acclaro still follows the same approach: listen to clients, surround yourself with smart and competent teammates, apply knowledge and collaborate with colleagues and providers.
