Description:
The Vice President (VP) of marketing is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping and executing Acclaro’s marketing strategy to drive growth, enhance brand equity, and establish market leadership in the language services industry. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of marketing collaborates closely with executive leadership to align marketing efforts with revenue goals, customer acquisition targets, and overall business objectives.
This role is critical in developing and implementing scalable marketing strategies that support Acclaro’s expansion into new markets, drive demand generation, and solidify the company’s position as a leader in localization services. The VP will lead a dynamic team, leverage innovative tools and platforms, and foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Strategic marketing leadership:
- Partner with the Chief of Growth to develop and execute a forward-thinking marketing strategy that aligns with Acclaro’s growth objectives.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing efforts, ensuring accountability and regular reporting of measurable outcomes.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the executive team on market trends, customer insights, and competitive positioning.
- Customer experience and engagement:
- Develop strategies to enhance customer loyalty, retention, and advocacy by integrating customer feedback and insights into marketing initiatives.
- Ensure that all marketing efforts prioritize the customer experience, delivering personalized and impactful campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Team leadership & talent development:
- Build, lead, and inspire a world-class marketing team, ensuring a culture of high performance, creativity, and collaboration.
- Create professional development opportunities for team members, fostering skill growth and long-term career success.
- Demand generation & revenue growth:
- Develop and oversee multi-channel demand generation campaigns to drive lead acquisition and pipeline growth in alignment with sales objectives.
- Implement best practices for account-based marketing (ABM) strategies to support targeted customer acquisition.
- Brand strategy & market positioning:
- Lead the evolution of Acclaro’s brand strategy, ensuring consistency and resonance across all customer touchpoints.
- Position Acclaro as a market leader through thought leadership, content creation, and strategic partnerships.
- Digital marketing & optimization:
- Oversee the execution of digital marketing initiatives, including content marketing, SEO/SEM, email campaigns, and social media.
- Leverage advanced analytics and marketing technologies to optimize campaigns, measure success, and enhance ROI.
- Innovation & market trends:
- Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate innovative technologies such as AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics into marketing strategies.
- Leverage cutting-edge tools and techniques to maintain a competitive edge and drive continuous improvement across all marketing channels.
- Reputation management and strategic communication:
- Lead the development of comprehensive strategies to protect and enhance the company’s reputation, with an emphasis on proactive brand management, transparency, and alignment with our core values.
- Act as a key spokesperson in all external communications, including during times of crisis, ensuring our messaging reflects both our strength and our commitment to customers, employees, and stakeholders.
- Global perspective:
- Develop region-specific marketing strategies to address the unique needs of international markets while maintaining alignment with the global brand.
- Foster a deep understanding of cultural nuances to create impactful and localized marketing campaigns that drive global growth.
- Industry leadership & partnerships:
- Represent Acclaro at industry events, conferences, and forums to strengthen brand equity and forge strategic relationships.
- Identify and nurture co-marketing opportunities with partners to expand market reach and enhance brand visibility.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in a senior leadership role, such as VP of Marketing or equivalent.
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership roles overseeing strategic planning and execution.
- University Degree in related field or equivalent military or professional experience.
- Experience collaborating with senior executives and driving alignment between marketing, sales, and operations.
- Demonstrated ability to scale marketing strategies and drive revenue growth in fast-paced, competitive markets.
- Expertise in digital marketing strategies, including account-based marketing (ABM), SEO/SEM, content creation, and marketing automation.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills with a proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance optimization.
- Proficiency with marketing automation tools and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, or similar).
- High degree of commercial acumen and the ability to align marketing initiatives with business growth objectives.
