You and the role

As a Project Manager at Acclaro, it is your responsibility to ensure the Project is running on schedule and to the agreed budget and quality standards of the company. Each account will have its own dedicated workflow and you could be managing multiple projects at a time across different customers.

You will manage the project and project team in accordance with the specified requirements and needs from start to end.

Responsibilities

  • Profitability of projects
  • Plan and schedule localization projects; provide assessment and quotes allocate resources; develop budget, schedule and quality parameters
  • Track project progress to ensure that quality, deliveries and cost stay on plan
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with clients on project matters; provide regular status reports, proactively offer solutions to ensure customer satisfaction, cooperate with Program Managers to achieve this
  • Facilitate effective communication within the project team (project managers, engineers, resourcing, linguists, no matter if internal or external)
  • Provide support to Program Managers in costing and planning projects
  • Ensure completion of all administrative project processes (invoicing, open/close jobs, etc.).
  • Manage a project team on a large account, define process and advise on strategy with support from the Program Manager
  • Actively communicate with the team members and/or other managers in order to identify potential organizational and operational issues.
  • Offers solutions and suggestions for process and product improvement

Candidate requirement

Level of formal education: University degree is a plus
Area of study: Translation, Business is preferred
Years of experience: 2+ years

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of localization industry standard tools a plus

  • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
  • Great organizational skills
  • A passionate and responsible worker who understands the complexities of the situations and comfortable to spend extra hours and efforts to deliver quality outputs on time
  • Knowledge of CAT tools is an advantage
